Dayna Lidster, Master of Counselling
Registered Psychologist (BC #2431, Alberta #4354) and Certified Grief Educator
With a Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology, I have post-graduate training in grief and loss, somatic psychotherapy, relationships, trauma, emotion regulation, and mindfulness.
I begin by creating safety and connection, allowing you to feel truly understood. In turn, opening the door to create meaningful change and allow healing in your life.
“And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.”
-Anais Nin
I value:
Collaboration, Open-Heartedness, and Research-Based Psychotherapy.
I offer professional and evidence-based counselling, while honouring your path.
Everyone struggles and feels overwhelmed at times: with loss, relationship challenges, life transitions, or day to day. Counselling can help you with understanding your emotions, coping in a different way, becoming more aware of your patterns, and expressing yourself in new ways.
You are not alone.
The decision to begin counselling can be challenging and you may feel quite vulnerable, and sometimes fear that you will be judged.
I strive to meet you where you are at, hold non-judgmental space and together discover a path forward.
